Did you know that over 40% of the birds in western Europe can be seen in the Languedoc area of southern France? Resident species, summer visitors, on migration and over-wintering, what attracts them is the Languedoc’s unique geographic diversity, which offers some of the best birding in France.
The Languedoc is home to a wide range of species from Bonelli's eagle to Flamingo and so much in between. See our species list for a selection of which birds you can see each month.
As resident birders, our aim is to help you enjoy the incredibly rich biodiversity of our "local patch", through Birding Languedoc's unique combination of English speaking tour leaders and our team of local guides.
Specialising in tailor-made trips for 6-10 people, we are keen to work with birdwatching clubs, natural history societies, digiscoping / phonescoping groups or a group of friends!
Have a look at the "Tours" page for some ideas or use the Contact form for different dates or a tailor-made trip.
