Based in the heart of the pretty harbour town of Marseillan, we offer you a warm welcome at our private bar and an extremely comfortable Carpe Diem bed to rest your head. You are welcome to make a reservation to dine at our in-house gourmet restaurant too; please see for menu and booking details.

If you are keen to “get up and go” for more bird-watching opportunities the following morning, our chef Jesper Dahl can provide a tasty and nutritious Picnic Pack for later in the day. Our generous breakfast buffet comes highly recommended, and is included as part of your accommodation booking. You may also choose to take your time, rise late, and let the day unfold as it may.

With so much to see and do, this is a lovely location for all visitors; we are confident everyone will take home memories to cherish.

Like many Brits, I have a keen interest in natural history and will never tire of learning about the amazing birds and wildlife of the Languedoc. Resident in this lovely area for over 10 years, I now have a good working knowledge of where the best spots are for birds, flowers and other species and I enjoy sharing these with interested visitors. My background in project management and hospitality combined with being fully bilingual are useful skills for organising and hosting tours, and I have a particular focus on customer service!
